How does the fund operate?
Initial applications to the Springboard Fund must be made using the online application form on this website. The initial application will be reviewed by the Springboard Project Director who will contact the applicant to discuss the application and confirm if it is eligible for consideration by the Investment Panel.
The Springboard Fund investment decisions are carried out by an Investment Panel of six people who have considerable experience of the economy of Devon and Cornwall. The majority of the Investment Panel members are business people who have experience of running their own businesses or holding senior positions in large businesses.
Applications must meet the minimum Eligibility Criteria for consideration. Suitable projects will be considered by the Investment Panel who will decide if, in their collective opinion, a particular proposal is worthy of investment from the Fund.
