The Application Process
The application form can be downloaded from this website on the Application Form page and the completed form should be submitted electronically.
The application will be reviewed to ensure it meets the minimum requirements for consideration by the Investment Panel (see Eligibility Criteria). The application will be acknowledged and the applicant notified if there are any issues regarding eligibility.
If the application is to be considered by the Panel, the date of the review will be notified to the applicant and they may be asked to provide more detail of their proposed project to enable it to be evaluated by the Panel.
Following the Investment Panel recommending an investment in a particular project, this decision will be ratified by both Inspiras Ltd and South West RDA before an offer is made.
The applicant will be notified of the decision of the Panel following ratification. If an offer is made the applicant will be notified of any conditions that need to be met, and once agreed the formal offer will be issued.
The Springboard Fund is a discretionary fund and the Investment Panel will make decisions on investments based on their assessment of the benefits of such an investment. The decision of the Panel is final and there is no recourse to appeal.
